1. Who runs this site

SoSimple.tools is an independent site run by Roberto Teixeira Silva, based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the site offers

Free calculators, converters and small utilities. They run in your browser, need no account, and what you type is not sent to our servers (see the Privacy Policy).

3. Estimates, not professional advice

Results are estimates based on the formulas and sources named on each page. They are for information and planning only.

Health, money, legal and safety topics: tools about health, pets, finance, taxes, travel rules, electrical wiring, vehicles or construction do not replace a doctor, veterinarian, financial or legal adviser, official authority or qualified professional. Check official sources before you act on a result, especially before travel, purchases or electrical and structural work.

4. Your responsibility

Use the tools lawfully. Documents you create with a layout tool, such as a certificate, are informal and carry no official, academic or legal value; do not use them to imitate an institution or to mislead anyone.

5. Accuracy and corrections

We check our sources and fix errors when we find them or when you tell us. Substantive fixes are listed with their date on the Corrections page.

6. Advertising and affiliate links

The site may show advertising and contains affiliate links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change a calculation, and product links are labeled.

7. How the content is made

The owner decides what each tool does and which sources it uses; AI assistants help build the code and draft texts, which are then checked against the cited sources. More on the About page.

8. Third-party content

Pages link to external sources and some tools load code libraries from third-party hosts. We are not responsible for the content or availability of external sites.

9. Limitation of liability

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Intellectual property

The site’s texts, design and code belong to SoSimple.tools. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link; please do not copy or republish whole tools or pages.

11. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
