Look & Feel
“Print / PDF” opens only the certificate, without the website. In the print dialog choose “Save as PDF”, the same paper size, margins “None” and untick “Headers and footers”. With several recipients each certificate gets its own page. PNG exports only the certificate shown.
How to use this tool
- Choose a Certificate Type (Course Completion, Achievement, Participation, Appreciation, Excellence / Honor or Custom Wording) and edit the title and text if you want.
- Type the recipient name, the reason, the issuing organization and the date, and add your logo and a signature if needed.
- To make several at once, open the multiple-recipients field and write one name per line (up to 100).
- Pick A4 or US Letter, flip through the pages with Previous and Next, then download a PNG, print, or save as PDF.
Worked example
Paste three fictional names (Alex Morgan, Jordan Lee, Sam Rivera), one per line, and the preview shows “Certificate 1 of 3”. Each name gets its own page, and the single recipient field is ignored. Print / PDF sends three sheets to your printer or PDF file, each laid out to the exact A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) size you chose. The result is a layout template for informal recognition, such as a class, club or workshop. It is not an official diploma or a document that carries any legal or institutional authority.
Methodology
Every certificate is laid out in millimeters on the exact sheet you choose, so what you see in the preview is what leaves the printer. The page is built as a sharp HTML layout and handed to your browser's own print engine — no file is uploaded, rendered on a server or stored.
Printing a stack of certificates without surprises
Single certificates are easy. The trouble starts with batches, paper sizes and exports, and each of these follows directly from how the tool works.
- Mismatched paper. A4 is 210 × 297 mm and US Letter is 215.9 × 279.4 mm: 5.9 mm different in width and 17.6 mm in height. The layout is built for the size you pick, so select the same size in the print dialog. This page starts on US Letter; the other languages start on A4, so check the Paper field.
- Pasting more than 100 names. Only the first 100 lines are used and there is no warning. If the pager says “Certificate 1 of 100” but your list was longer, print the rest as a second batch.
- Trusting the line count blindly. Blank lines are skipped, but a name pasted twice prints twice. Also, once the batch box has content, the single recipient field is ignored.
- Exporting PNG for everyone. The PNG button saves only the certificate currently on screen. For a whole class, use Print / PDF and Save as PDF to get one multi-page file.
- Treating the result as a credential. It is a layout for informal recognition with no registration or legal value, so avoid copying a real institution's name or logo.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my print show extra pages or the website address? ▼
In your browser's print dialog set Margins to “None”, untick “Headers and footers” and choose the same paper size (A4 or Letter) you picked in the tool. The tool removes its own page margins and prints one sheet per certificate, but some browsers add headers again if the margin setting is overridden.
How do I print on pre-printed gold-foil certificate paper? ▼
Tick “No border or decoration” so only the text, name and signatures are printed inside the blank frame of your paper. Do a test print on plain paper first and hold it against the light with the pre-printed sheet to check the alignment. Pre-printed borders vary by brand.
How do I leave room for a seal sticker? ▼
Tick “Leave room for a 2-inch seal sticker”. The tool keeps a 52 mm square free in the bottom center of the sheet — the dashed circle shows the spot in the preview only and is never printed — so a standard 2-inch (50.8 mm) foil seal fits without covering the signatures.
How do I make many certificates at once? ▼
Open “Several recipients at once”, paste one name per line (up to 100) and print. Each name gets its own page with identical wording, and choosing “Save as PDF” in the print dialog gives you a single multi-page file. The PNG button exports only the certificate currently shown.
Is a certificate made here an official diploma? ▼
No. It is a free layout for informal recognition such as course completion, participation or awards. It carries no registration, accreditation or legal value, and it must not be used to imitate a school, university or authority or to falsify any credential.
Can I make a certificate in another language? ▼
Open the tool in that language: the wording suggestions, date format and default paper size follow the page language. Every text field is editable, so you can also type any wording of your own.
